Job Overview

Analyze and solve production engineering and new project qualification issues with the objective of ensuring new project launches on time, production by order, and improving efficiency under the supervision of the Sr. Manager PBL organization.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Supplier Engineering Capability : support sourcing for new supplier qualification, support sourcing for supplier exit, support SQE for supplier audit, and conduct supplier assessment to improve capability.
• New Project : support sourcing for new product quotation, act as project leader for the Micro Lite project managing on‑schedule approval, as a manufacturing engineer support supplier for DFM and PFMEA preparation and design review, support supplier for process and tool design and qualification, follow up on sample making issues and schedules, work with PBL suppliers on packing design and qualification testing, obtain all necessary engineering documents, and coordinate safe launch process audit.
• Sustain Product : collaborate with sourcing and suppliers to review and improve capacity, lead tool qualification; work with SQE to improve process yield; follow EC, 4M and material changes; manage new material qualification progress; handle supplier change or migration projects from TE plant to PBL suppliers.
• Productivity : collaborate with suppliers to identify improvement opportunities in process, material, plating and packing; drive VAVE projects and cost reduction; support sourcing for cost reduction negotiations.
• Capex Management and Equipment Maintenance : follow capex qualification, coordinate with finance, sourcing and PBL suppliers to manage capex, and support PBL suppliers in preparing equipment and tool maintenance plans and monitoring compliance.
