What's on your plate?

Payment Processing & Support

Responsible for calculating rider pay and ensuring payouts are processed accurately and on time, in line with the agreed closely with rider payment team to calculate rider pay based on agreed payout cycles

Collaborate with the country finance team to ensure the accurate and timely transfer of funds, while also addressing local reporting requirements as with country finance / people teams to ensure accurate and timely payouts.

Manage payments outside the standard system (Rooster).

Respond to rider payment inquiries.

Analyze pay anomalies using basic queries and rules.

Manage payment products, including reconciliation and bug identification.

Assist in tax / audit document preparation.

Payment Optimization

Collaborate to improve payment integrations and automate tasks for efficiency.

Optimize processes, reduce costs, and manage payment risk.

Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table?

You love data and numbers!

2-3 years of relevant experience in payroll

preferably at least 1-2 years of work experience in high growth startups or tech companies

Hands-on in SQL (Python is an add-on)

A fast learner and able to adapt to fast-paced environments

Excited to process improve & automate

You are no stranger to working under pressure, for quick deadlines

Willing to question the status quo and contribute to ideas when needed

Attention to detail and focused on producing quality work

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in STEM, Actuarial Science, Economics or Business preferred but not a must
