Business Process Analyst - Order Management / Sales & Services

As a Business Process Analyst with a focus on Order Management, Sales and Service processes, you will document, analyze, and optimize our organization's Sales & Service operation processes. Your expertise in process modeling and documentation will be essential in enhancing efficiency, visibility, and compliance within the Sales & Service functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, subject matter experts, and process owners to create detailed process maps and ensure accurate representation of supply and demand planning processes in the BPMN-tool. You will also facilitate / lead strategic initiatives related to supply chain planning, ensuring project requirements are gathered and translated for execution.
Responsibilities
- Process Documentation and Modelling : Collaborate with business stakeholders and process owners to understand and document existing processes using BPMN notation. Create detailed process maps, workflows, and diagrams with clear RACI, Tools, and Work Instructions (WI). Ensure documentation is clear, consistent, and follows BPMN best practices. Adopt Single Source of Truth; use BPMN-tool to create, update, and maintain process documentation centrally. Ensure process KPIs are documented.
- Process Analysis and Optimization : Work with process owners to analyze processes, identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and propose optimizations using BPMN-tool capabilities. Validate changes with stakeholders and ensure improvements align with organizational goals, including cross-functional handshakes as needed.
- System Knowledge & Analysis : Understand D365 system logic and guide users to follow documented planning processes. Drill through system data and perform analyses per business requests.
- Process Governance & Compliance : Ensure documented processes adhere to relevant standards and internal policies. Implement version control and change management to maintain accuracy of documentation. Perform regular audits on KPIs and collaborate with supply chain teams to validate adherence.
- Continuous Improvement : Champion process excellence, promote a culture of continuous improvement, gather improvement requirements, support project plans, monitor progress, and identify automation opportunities. Stay updated on BPMN trends and practices.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.Typically 3+ years of experience in business process management, process documentation, or related roles.At least 5 years of experience in operational Order Management or Sales & Service functions.Excellent project management, planning, prioritization, and ability to execute impactful solutions with timely updates. Strong analytical, influencing, and problem-solving skills; able to engage with teams and clients.Flexible to take on ad-hoc assignments or projects. Logical and analytical mindset with ability to identify improvement opportunities through data analysis.Excellent written and verbal communication to collaborate with stakeholders and present complex concepts.Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or Business Process Reengineering (BPR).Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements related to business processes.Preferred Qualifications
Experience facilitating and moderating process mapping and improvement workshops.Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365; ERP integration experience for new ERP rollouts.Consulting background preferred.VAT is an equal opportunity employer.
