Cylinder Maintenance Operator

As a Cylinder Maintenance Operator, you are responsible for identifying and marking defective cylinders that must be repaired or scrapped.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• Conduct thorough visual and hydrostatic tests on cylinders to identify any signs of damage, leaks, or other issues.
• Perform hands-on maintenance and repair work on cylinders and their components, including valves, safety devices, and labels.
• Take ownership of daily cylinder maintenance operations to meet scheduled targets and maintain a smooth workflow.
• Follow standard procedures and safety regulations for all maintenance and testing activities.
• Document all maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks, and prepare any related reports.
• Perform routine maintenance and service on machinery and equipment within the plant.
• Inspect cylinders that have been reported with issues and take appropriate action.
• Report any deviations or discrepancies to your supervisor for immediate attention.
• Comply with all safety measures and maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout the work area.
