Accounts Payable Analyst

is now looking for a dynamic individual as an

Accounts Payable Analyst.

As an Accounts Payable Specialist within the Global Business Services in Kuala Lumpur, you will play a vital role in supporting business entities across the Asia-Pacific region. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will be responsible for various key functions, including process payments, account management, supplier and internal stakeholder management, project support, and actively contributing to process improvement initiatives.

This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

As An Accounts Payable Analyst You Will

Review of payment proposals to ensure timely and accurate outgoing payments.

Solve errors in a most efficient way together with Vendor Master Data team, Purchasing department or invoice processors.

Manage out-of-cycle payments to maintain business.

Prepare, understand, and review monthly account reconciliations.

Be responsible for assigned legal entities, including vendor open items (VOI) and Goods Receipt No Invoice (GRNI).

Perform follow ups to ensure timely closing of outstanding item continuity.

Be extended support for suppliers & internal stakeholders on their issues and escalations.

Participate in business-driven recurring meetings.

Proactively reach out to stakeholders to initiate process improvements.

Working together with invoice processors and helpdesk agents to identify gaps, decide on preventive solutions or simply remove barriers.

Partner to ensure updated documentation is in place.

Be a key AP team member for our Business Process Owner & Project Lead to provide expertise and drive success.

Guarantee the compliance of our organizational regulations and contribute to internal or external SOX and Internal Audit controls.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

At least a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferably master.

At least 3-4 years of work experience in Accounts Payable.

Preferably, previous professional experience gained in a Shared Services environment.

Excellent knowledge of English, Chinese (Mandarin / Traditional Chinese), Malay

Advanced Excel skills.

Knowledge of SAP required.

Strong communication skills to interact with people in different locations and at different levels in the organization.

Very good analytical skills

Excellent teamwork skills
