Quality Technician

Assist / support the Quality Engineers by providing production expertise to resolve Quality issues within the production operation. Ensure that the product meets customer’s requirements (both internal and external) at each stage of its manufacturing process, carrying out relevant testing and where necessary take corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues. Report quality issues data, ensuring the Quality Management System is adhered to at all stages

• Ensures that all of the parts, materials, and services that a company produces are of a consistently high standard
• Ensure that a product meets all of the customer requirements and standards
• Able to review and evaluate test reports, change requests, and inspection reports
• Able to review and evaluate problem reports and quality complaints
• Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
• Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as an Inspection or quality technician.
• Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.
• High-level of visual awareness.
• Good organizational skills.
• Experience drafting reports and collating data.
• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
