Senior Account Manager role in Malaysia focusing on hybrid responsibilities that balance strategic partner management and direct end-user engagement to drive sales growth, market adoption, and customer success for life sciences solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow one assigned strategic partner relationship, serving as the main point of contact to drive mutual business growth.
- Engage directly with end-users (academia, clinical, applied testing) to build adoption, address needs, and generate demand.
- Co-develop and execute sales and marketing plans with the partner, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor and track partner performance against agreed targets (sales, forecasts, inventory, marketing commitments), ensuring accountability and corrective actions when required.
- Support commercial discussions with both partner and customers, including pricing, promotions, and rebate structures within company guidelines.
- Provide accurate sales planning, forecasting, and demand phasing based on market trends, partner activity, and end-user opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and KOLs, both directly and through the partner, to expand awareness and adoption of our solutions.
- Share market intelligence and competitive insights with internal teams to refine sales strategies and execution.
- Ensure timely reporting of sales performance, forecasts, and CRM updates to support visibility and decision-making.
- Represent the company in customer-facing activities such as seminars, workshops, and promotional campaigns.
- Focus split : ~50% partner management, ~50% end-user engagement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related discipline.3–5 years of sales experience in life sciences; channel / account management experience preferred.Proven ability to manage strategic partners while directly driving customer adoption and sales.Strong commercial, negotiation, and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.A proactive, accountable, and results-driven team player.Why Join Us
