Job description
Responsibilities
Oversee contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with contracts, cost control, and industry standards.
Supervise infrastructure and building maintenance works, conducting quality inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.
Enforce safety codes, ensure proper use of PPE, and maintain compliance with local regulations during maintenance and testing activities.
Manage day-to-day building and site operations, including civil works, maintenance activities, energy usage, and Green Building Index requirements.
Detect faults in engineering systems and ensure timely corrective or breakdown maintenance, preparing technical reports when necessary.
Plan, schedule, and monitor Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), reviewing activities with technical staff and submitting monthly reports.
Provide 24 / 7 emergency support, attending to breakdowns and ensuring availability of emergency maintenance personnel.
Prepare and submit periodic operational and technical reports for management and clients.
Support audits and compliance requirements (ISO 14001, ISO 9001, OHSAS 45001), ensuring data readiness and adherence to standards.
Manage procurement and finance matters related to maintenance, including purchase requisitions, petty cash, and monthly utility verifications.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
At least 4 years in Facilities Management as a Civil Executive / Engineer.
Strong knowledge of civil systems, building maintenance, and facilities operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; exposure to Oracle systems is an advantage.
Familiarity with Green Building Index (GBI) standards or Energy Management practices.
