Financial Crime Compliance Associate at AIA Shared Services.
About The Role
Responsible for developing and implementing processes and controls to stay in sync with rules and regulations that prevent financial crime.
Responsibilities
- Process all compliance screening that are outsourced to the department according to the agreed Standard Operating Procedure and guidelines.
- Assist in the implementation of an effective Anti-Money Laundering (AML) framework to ensure compliance with AML regulations and Group Compliance policies.
- Carry out AML and Economic Sanctioned Screening to flag PEPs, SDNs, tax evasion cases and adverse findings.
- Carry out screening and reviewing activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and AIA requirements and to reduce reputational, legal and financial risk.
- Ensure tasks are processed accurately with prudent risk assessment within the agreed TAT and Quality as detailed in the SLA with the business partner.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy (Quality) and aim to improve quality scores over time.
- Maintain a high level of Productivity and aim to improve efficiency scores over time.
- Maintain a good personal record of training in line with the OSS training framework.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.Experience in life insurance operations, client screenings and name searches is advantageous.Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are an advantage.Proficient in Chinese language.Committed to delivering quality service to customers and colleagues.Strong time management skills to meet deadlines.Customer oriented, detail oriented and self-motivated.Able to work independently as well as a team player who works well under pressure.You must provide all requested information to be considered for this career opportunity.
