Job description

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Language, Education, Linguistics, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience in Mandarin language (Fresh graduates with strong proficiency are encouraged to apply).
  • Passionate about teaching and working with children / teenagers.
  • Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with online teaching tools and modern teaching methodologies.
  • Preferably Chinese candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging Mandarin language lessons for primary level students , aligning with the school's alternative education philosophy.
  • Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters student participation and encourages the development of Mandarin language skills.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver Mandarin lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students can access and understand the material.
  • Assess student progress through regular assignments, quizzes, and projects, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement in Mandarin language proficiency.
  • Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the specific needs of students and the requirements of the school's academic program.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and productive learning environment, addressing any behavioral issues promptly and fairly.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate Mandarin language learning into interdisciplinary projects and activities.
  • Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in Mandarin language education, participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
  • Working Location : Maverick International Primary School, Sunway Semenyih. Selangor.
