POSITION OVERVIEW

The General Manager will establish and lead our new branch in Malaysia, developing strategic business initiatives while building a strong local presence in the Southeast Asian market. The ideal candidate will combine Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O expertise with entrepreneurship to drive business growth in alignment with our global vision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies for the Malaysia branch, ensuring alignment with headquarters while adapting to local market conditions
  • Identify and cultivate market opportunities throughout Southeast Asia, establishing a robust client network to drive sustainable revenue growth
  • Represent the company in key industry forums and develop strategic partnerships to enhance market positioning

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the branch, implementing effective systems and processes to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics to achieve business targets
  • Establish compliance frameworks aligned with Malaysian regulations and company governance standards
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Expertise

  • Leverage deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to develop market-specific solutions
  • Build relationships with Microsoft ecosystem partners to enhance solution offerings and create competitive advantages
  • Guide technical teams in solution development and implementation, ensuring client satisfaction and business value
  • Talent & Culture Development

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing multicultural team aligned with company values
  • Foster an entrepreneurial culture that encourages innovation, accountability, and performance excellence
  • Implement effective performance management systems to drive team development and retention
  • Relationship Maintenance

  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry associations
  • Serve as the primary liaison between headquarters and the Malaysia branch, ensuring effective communication
  • Represent the company with clients, partners, and the broader business community
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    Education & Language

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
  • Professional fluency in English (assessment required during interview process)
  • Professional fluency in the local languages of Malaysia.
  • Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O in sales, implementation, or solution management roles
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, preferably in the Southeast Asian market
  • Experience establishing new business units or leading entrepreneurial initiatives
