Senior Finance Executive

ACCA Careers is seeking a Senior Finance Executive to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance within the property industry. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, KL Sentral and requires a proactive individual with a solid background in accounting and finance.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., MEC, YEC).
Support the budgeting and forecasting process for the department and business units.
Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper documentation and controls are in place.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
Manage cash flow and ensure optimal allocation of financial resources.
Assist in the preparation of tax filings and compliance documentation.
Support the implementation of financial systems and process improvements.

Qualifications

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA are advantageous.

Proven experience in financial reporting and budgeting within the property and construction industry.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and tax compliance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
