Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide excellent and personalize services for different customer.
  • Always strive towards best customer satisfaction.
  • Arrange table for customer and do not leave the table empty for long period of time.
  • Greet customers and present menus.
  • Make menu recommendations and inform patrons of any specials.
  • Familiar with the system operation.
  • Double check order, food / drinks quality and customer satisfaction with their needs.
  • Serve food / drinks to customers.
  • Notify customer dish name and tick the customer order list when serve food / drinks.
  • Always keep tables / chair clean and tidy.
  • Refill all necessary materials / ingredients such as merchandise / pencil / menu.
  • Ensure enough inventory of takeaway packing item at packing counter, facilitate takeaway / delivery order process.
  • Administer change to tables if needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum SPM certificate.
  • Endurance to walk and stand for long hours.
  • Proven experience in a waiter role is an advantage.
  • Coordination to carry plates or trays without dropping anything.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
  • Able to communicate in Malay and English, or Mandarin
