Overview

The hiring company, a subsidiary of a Public Listed Company, is a forward-looking organization specializing in business travel support services. They have been in the business of providing quality chauffeured limousine services and hire-and-drive car rental for over two decades in Malaysia. They are seeking accounting qualified candidates to join the Finance team to manage the full functions of accounting and finance of the organization at Bandar Bukit Jalil, on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur.

Job role

This is a full-time permanent position within the Finance Department. The incumbent will support day-to-day accounting functions in the Finance Department. Main responsibilities include managing the full set of accounts and preparation of financial and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Production of month-end management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
• Management of accruals, prepayments, depreciation and petty cash month journals.
• Reconciliation of monthly key ledger balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
• Maintain accounting records and database.
