JOB SCOPE :
The incumbent is responsible to
- successful new products / campaigns launched to enable business
- aligned enhancements of existing applications with the Pulse Integration Cluster Roadmap to enable smooth transition to Pulse experience for the business and customers
- high stability in legacy application to support PRUexperience for customer and partner.
- adhere to Global Application Support and Prevention of Occurrence Methodology and Policy Standards
- comply with regulatory, risk and compliance requirement
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsible for continuity in maintenance and support of IL Policy AdministrationApplication support scope including business function enablement, solutioning and IL / VPMS configuration.Align enhancements of existing non-Pulse applications with the Pulse Integration Cluster Roadmap and following the 7-Stages of integration.Ensure continuity in maintenance of existing systems and smooth transition to Pulse experience for the business and customersEnsure local alignment to Global Application Support and Prevention of Occurrence Methodology and Policy StandardsSupport and encourage the team to pick up new skills eg. new way of working –HH and continuous learningEnsure adherence to regulatory, risk and compliance requirementJOB SPECIFICATION : Qualifications
Degree from a recognized University preferably in Business, Insurance Studies, Information Technology, Computer Science, etcProfessional qualification in Life Insurance i.e., Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII), Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII), Life Office Management Association (LOMA), or other related to Life Insurance Industry would be an added advantage.Experience
A minimum of 4-5 years working experience. Experience in Life Insurance Industry with basic operational knowledge in Life Administration, Actuarial, Agency Administration and Finance would be an added advantageKnowledge
Life insurance knowledge in Life Administration, Actuarial, Agency Administration and FinanceArticulate and proficient in written and spoken English. Basic knowledge of Asian language and Mandarin in written and spoken will be a value-added advantage.Requires in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own disciplineUses best practices and knowledge of internal / external business issues to improve products or servicesSolves moderately complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutionsWorks independently with minimal guidanceActs as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may direct the work of staff
