Junior Geo Technologist

Overview

We are looking for tech-savvy and detail-oriented individuals who are interested in geoscience to join our GeoTech team. The successful candidate will handle geoscience data, including loading, quality control, and formatting, and will work closely with our Geoscience team to support data management and loading.

Responsibilities

• Manage geoscience data (ASCII, SEGY, SEGD, LAS, DLIS and reports) including loading, organising, quality control, editing, formatting, managing access rights and data archive.
• Apply and respect company policies, procedures, standards and rules (naming conventions, organisation, workflows and confidentiality) to ensure data flow quality and adherence to deadlines.
• Track and manage data supplied to and from clients, ensuring data is transmitted / received in appropriate formats.
• Report any unresolved issues that may arise during a production run, including quality-related issues to the team leader.
• Work closely with the Geoscience Team to ensure that data is properly loaded.
• Flexible to work and support UK, US & Malaysia time zones.
• Performing other related tasks as requested by the team leader.
• Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc projects and related duties as and when required.
• Complying with the Company’s HSE regulations and policies.
