• Sime Darby Industrial Sdn BhdLead repairs on all types of Caterpillars and SDI-supported machinery, ensuring compliance with principal standards, divisional Standards of Quality Management (SQM), and cleanliness requirements.Complete the Individual Learning Plan (TCDP Level 6), including Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Web-Based Training (WBT) to achieve the required Level 6 competencies.Perform Technical Advisory functions, providing expert-level guidance on equipment diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs to both customers and internal service teams to enhance service efficiency and reliability.Commission and validate new equipment installations, ensuring that they meet operational performance, safety, and reliability standards before delivery to customers or site deployment.Manage Complex Product Troubleshooting, identifying root causes of equipment failures, analyzing data, and implementing effective solutions to resolve high-level technical issues and prevent recurrence.Apply Failure Analysis techniques to investigate equipment malfunctions, document findings, and recommend corrective actions that improve equipment reliability and overall performance.Oversee Equipment Management, including condition monitoring, preventive maintenance planning, and optimizing equipment performance to extend service life, reduce downtime, and ensure operational efficiency.Coach and mentor junior technicians, sharing advanced technical knowledge, conducting hands-on training, and providing constructive feedback to foster skills development and enhance the team’s technical capability.Ensure strict adherence to principal and divisional Standards of Quality Management (SQM) and cleanliness requirements during all maintenance and repair activities.Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance on Caterpillar and SDI-supported equipment while ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and environmental standards.Utilize diagnostic tools and appropriate equipment, including hand tools, power tools, air tools, and electronic controls, to perform accurate and efficient maintenance and repair tasks.Accurately and promptly complete all service-related documentation, such as Timecards, Sims reports, parts returns, and other relevant records to ensure traceability and accuracy in reporting.Refer to service publications (hardcopy and softcopy formats) for technical guidance, procedures, and job-specific information to support accurate diagnostics and repairs.Assist in identifying, selecting, and managing parts required for service jobs to ensure timely and effective job completion while minimizing operational delays.Collaborate with senior technicians, supervisors, and other team members to ensure proper coordination, effective job execution, and successful service delivery.Communicate effectively within the service team, clarifying tasks, prioritizing work, and providing regular updates on job status and challenges to maintain operational efficiency.Safely load and unload equipment from carriers while complying with SQM and safety protocols, ensuring secure handling and minimizing risk of damage.Monitor and maintain a minimum labor utilization rate of 72% or above. Any deviation from this target requires management approval and proper justification.Achieve a monthly revenue target of RM14,000 by completing service jobs efficiently while ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.Stay updated on new developments in tooling, technologies, and Caterpillar systems, applying the latest knowledge to improve service quality, reduce downtime, and enhance operational performance.Collaborate with the supervisor to establish and follow a Career Development Plan, focusing on continuous learning, advanced training, and long-term professional growth.Adapt to additional duties as assigned by the immediate superior or Industrial Division management, based on business needs and operational priorities
