About the company :

Sunway Super App is a mobile app-based coalition loyalty program that enables members to earn and redeem points across a wide network of participating merchants and partners, including Sunway-owned businesses such as malls, theme parks, hotels, educational institutions, and property developments.

As part of the broader Sunway ecosystem, Sunway Super App plays a strategic role in enhancing customer engagement and driving repeat visits through digital loyalty experiences. The app has been downloaded over millions of users and continues to evolve as a key digital touchpoint for customer rewards and brand interaction

About the position :

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic candidate to lead the development, enhancement, and marketing of the digital platform. This role is responsible for driving the overall product vision, user experience, and digital marketing strategy to deliver a compelling customer value proposition. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in digital product development with data-driven marketing acumen to accelerate customer acquisition, engagement, and growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Mobile App Product Leadership

  • Own the end-to-end strategy and execution of the mobile app, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Lead product roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and delivery in collaboration with design, engineering, and business teams.
  • Champion user-centric design and continuous improvement of the app's digital experience.
  • Monitor app performance, user feedback, and analytics to drive iterative enhancements and innovation.

Digital Marketing & Growth

  • Develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns to drive app downloads, user activation, digital sales and retention.
  • Leverage performance marketing, CRM, content strategy, and social media to build awareness and engagement.
  • Optimize customer journeys through personalization, segmentation, and automation.
  • Manage digital media budgets and agency / vendor relationships to maximize ROI.
  • Customer Value Proposition & Market Insights

  • Conduct market trend analysis, competitive benchmarking, and customer research to identify opportunities and gaps.
  • Translate insights into compelling value propositions and product features that differentiate the app in the market.
  • Collaborate with loyalty, payments, and other business units to integrate relevant services and benefits into the app ecosystem.
  • Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead cross-functional teams and foster a culture of innovation, agility, and customer obsession.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and align digital initiatives with group-level strategic priorities.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies, digital trends, and best practices to future-proof the app's relevance and impact.
  • Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 3- 4 years of experience in digital product development and digital marketing, with proven leadership in mobile app strategy.
  • Strong understanding of mobile UX / UI, agile development, and digital growth strategies.
  • Experience in customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Familiarity with tools such as Firebase, Mixpanel, Appsflyer, Google Analytics, Figma, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience in loyalty, payments, or e-commerce ecosystems is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Power Point, Excel, and Word).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
