Job description

Convergint is looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven, and customer service-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. A Project Engineer is responsible for security equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming according to Convergint’s standards to ensure excellent project quality and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Conduct security equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming according to Convergint’s standards
Participate in project management
Assist and provide technical support to sales and other departments
Carry out system troubleshooting and problem-solving
Conduct on-site client training
Develop in-depth system design and drawings using AutoCAD
Maintain a high level of knowledge in security systems

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic, Computer, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 3 years work experience in security and / or electronic system project implementation and commissioning, preferably in a multinational environment

Basic IT knowledge in security hardware, networks, and databases

Familiarity with security access control, video surveillance, and alarm system products and systems is an advantage

Willing to work on-site

Project management experience is an advantage

Past experience with Lenel, Cisco, and S2 systems is an advantage

Excellent communication and coordination skills

Customer service-oriented
