Role Summary

The Community Engagement Lead will represent our client in engaging with local government, residents, and community stakeholders for its datacenter project in Johor Bahru.

This role focuses on building trust , managing stakeholder relationships , and ensuring smooth community cooperation throughout the construction and operational phases.

The ideal candidate has strong community relations, government affairs, or corporate communications experience , especially within infrastructure, energy, property, or large development projects .

Key Purpose of the Role

To manage, communicate, and mitigate community-related risks linked to datacenter project in Johor Bahru by :

• Developing and executing a Community Engagement Plan
• Managing relationships with local residents, government bodies, and business groups
• Leading public consultations , town halls , and stakeholder meetings
• Monitoring public sentiment, media, and political developments
• Ensuring transparent, proactive communication about the datacenter project
