Main Accountabilities :
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration units and chillers (inclusive of system & distribution pumps, cooling towers, and water treatment systems)
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, or control-related issues in a timely manner, along with generation of RCA for associated abnormalities.
Prepare and continuously improve Work Instructions for shutdown, servicing, and restarting activities.
Monitor system performance and maintain Coefficient of Performance (COP) to designed level
Management and execution for Quarterly (3M Routine inspection) and Annual (12M Minor service) preventive maintenance plans (inclusive of relevant function tests or calibration within system)
To propose and manage any CAPEX Projects / MoC related to RU / Chiller system for sustenance and improvement
Plan and execute regulatory inspections for refrigeration systems and pressure vessels in line with statutory requirements.
Conduct and document annual safety function tests, including pressure relief devices, alarms, and emergency shutdowns.
Ensure firefighting systems related to refrigeration and chiller units are maintained in working condition.
Key person of ERP related to RU / Chiller system
Coordinate with the appointed water treatment vendor to monitor and maintain chilled water quality.
Track parameters such as pH, conductivity, and corrosion inhibition; ensure records are up-to-date and within set limits.
Recommend and implement corrective actions where needed.
Maintain optimal stock levels for critical and consumable parts to avoid downtime.
Work with procurement and vendors to ensure timely replenishment and cost control.
Review usage trends and update maintenance BOMs accordingly.
Cost management related to RU and chiller system (contract usage management)
Maintain detailed service logs, inspection reports, root cause analysis, water treatment records, and performance metrics
Provide monthly reports covering COP trends, maintenance PIs, spare part usage, and compliance activities
