Channel Partnerships Lead (Benefits / Insurance)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Partnerships Lead with a background in the benefits broker, insurance / reinsurance or Third Party Administrator (TPA) space to join and lead our channel partnerships team. In this regional role, you will own and drive new partnerships with distributors (including brokers, insurance providers, and TPAs), nurture existing partnership relationships for the sales team, and design and implement initiatives with partners that distribute Intellect further. A key focus is to own the collaboration and productization process with our insurance partners. You will also oversee identified emerging markets beyond Singapore and support regional business development representatives with channel partnership strategies to drive revenue growth and distribution. You will report to the Vice President of Partnerships and Solutions and work closely with the leadership team with strong opportunity to build and lead our commercial partnerships function.

Responsibilities

  • Own a revenue target specific to insurance and broker partnerships
  • Own, engage, and nurture existing channel partners
  • Drive and build new partnerships with channel partners
  • Collaborate with partners to develop go-to-market plans
  • Build a healthy pipeline with the revenue team

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in the employer healthcare benefit consultant / broker or insurance / reinsurance space / TPA space with partnerships experience
  • Experience in channel, consulting, strategy, or business development
  • Track record of sourcing, developing, and maintaining partner relationships
  • Understanding of the employee benefits space
  • Meticulous and efficient at crafting RFPs and proposals
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership and manage a regional team
  • Strong self-starter with excellent collaboration skills
  • Good sense of commercials and deal making
