Overview
The Media Planner is responsible for the media planning process across multiple channels, and responsible for expanding individual knowledge base, digital skills, and media expertise through attending training, tool sessions, and vendor presentations.
This role requires you to have a solid understanding of the client’s business and apply the media recommendation to deliver against the client’s objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand the client’s business objectives and advertising strategy.
- Assist the team in preparing budgets and estimating proposed media and communication plans.
- Familiar with the concept of media planning and implementation across all channels, working with specialized activation teams in areas of Digital, Performance, social media, Outdoor and Activation
- Ensure approved planned media are executed and consistent.
- Identify target audiences and analyze their characteristics, behavior, and media habits.
- Maintain effective communication with media owners, newspapers, magazines, and website owners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent client deliverables.
- Co-develop digital marketing plans and projects, including strategy and tactical elements, to drive client’s business goals
- Undertake research and analyze data using specialist industry resources.
- Optimize the effectiveness of campaigns through constant monitoring of campaign reports and analysis
- Maintain records and prepare periodic reports as may be required on assigned accounts.
- Keep up to date with the latest updates from media partners.

Job Requirements
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication or any related field.Good communication and presentation skills.Careful and meticulous.A self-starter and a team player with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Able to work within timelines.Confident and able to handle demanding situations professionally.
