Job description

Requirements

  • Company will be based in Seremban and Project site will be based in Kelantan
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical (Instrumentation) Engineering, recognized by BEM.
  • Registered Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
  • At least 3 years of engineering experience, preferably in the M&E construction industry.
  • Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • Strong technical knowledge in M&E services.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong in presentation, problem-solving, analysis, and leadership.
  • Knowledge of software like AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, BIM, or Microsoft Project is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and create mechanical designs and concepts.
  • Perform engineering calculations to support designs.
  • Use software to prepare and review technical drawings and specifications.
  • Manage and monitor engineering projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors on technical matters.
  • Ensure work follows approved drawings, specs, schedules, and budgets.
  • Supervise engineering activities and ensure compliance with standards and QA / QC policies.
  • Communicate with clients to understand and meet their needs.
  • Oversee project quality, timeline, budget, and team performance; provide regular updates.
  • Assign tasks and guide project team members.
  • Keep daily records of on-site engineering work.
  • Get necessary approvals from relevant authorities and consultants.
  • Work with project managers and senior engineers to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of designs and project progress.
  • Create CAD drawings and design documentation.
  • Train and support junior engineers and supervisors.
  • Ensure engineering work meets client expectations and quality standards.
  • Help allocate resources and track usage with project managers.
  • Handle safety documentation and ensure legal compliance.
  • Review project outputs and take corrective action if needed.
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure all work complies with codes, standards, and company policies.
  • Take on additional tasks or adapt to changes as directed by the Director.
