Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Business & System Analyst to translate complex business processes into technical requirements, user stories, and process flows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining requirements traceability, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with Agile methodologies, and proficiency in tools such as Confluence and Jira.
Job Responsibilities :
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate complex business processes into technical requirements, user stories, and process flows.
- Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from initial request through to solution delivery.
- Create visual models such as process diagrams and data flow diagrams to validate and communicate solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Architects, and Developers to define system-level designs aligned with business strategy.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints in business processes.
- Conduct gap analyses and recommend solutions for process improvements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating that developed solutions meet business needs.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other Agile project management software to manage requirements and track progress.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst in a technology-driven environment.Strong understanding of business process modeling, system analysis, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Experience working with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools like Jira and Confluence.Proficiency in creating process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, and other forms of technical documentation.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Proven experience in stakeholder management and requirements gathering.Familiarity with database concepts and querying (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.Understanding of API integrations and data exchange formats such as JSON and XML.Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, or SAFe are a plus.Note : This role is open to Malaysian Citizens or Permanent Residents only.#J-18808-Ljbffr
