Job description

SOURCE Global is looking for Sr / Test Development Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team. This role is based in Source Global Malaysia. Briefly, this position is multi-faceted and requires self-motivation and leadership skills within a fast-growing, mission-driven business that is committed to solving the global water crisis.

Responsibilities

Design & Develop Test Solutions to conduct experiment on parts, sub-assemblies & system level as prescribed by the Product Validation Plan & Report document
Invent and build infrastructure for continuous test cycles and develop electronic circuits and test software for CTQ tester
Develop & execute comprehensive test plans & test cases to validate product functionality against requirements and specifications
Implement automated testing using various tools & scripts to streamline testing processes and increase efficiency
Perform functional, performance, and regression testing to ensure existing functionality of Hydropanel is unaffected and products meet quality standards
Analyse test results, document observations, and provide regular reports on testing progress and defects
Maintain and update testing documentation and procedures
Vet effects of manufacturing process changes on the product
Vet alternate supplier parts identified by SCM

Requirements

Candidate shall possess at least a Degree in Engineering or Science or its equivalent

Minimum 2 years of working experience in Test Development

Knowledge of LabVIEW is a must

Comfortable with basic electronic test equipment including power supplies, electronic loads, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc

Able to speak, read and write Bahasa Malaysia and English
