About the role

BINSEN PLASTIC INDUSTRY SDN BHD is seeking an experienced and dedicated Store Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in Juru, Penang. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and organised management of our inventory and storage facilities.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of warehouse staff to ensure all daily tasks are completed efficiently and on time
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring inventory is accurately tracked and stored appropriately
  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods, materials, and supplies
  • Implement and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Liaise with other departments to provide timely and accurate information on stock levels and availability
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase productivity and efficiency
  • Generate reports on inventory, order fulfilment, and other key performance metrics

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a store or warehouse supervisor role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Proficient in inventory management systems and data analysis
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance
