Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and monitor logistics operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of goods. Manage transportation schedules, routes, and carriers to optimize delivery times and costs. Establish and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers to optimize logistics operations, negotiate contracts and resolve related issues. Track and report on the status of shipment, monitoring for delays and managing disruptions. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency of logistics operations and implement improvements as needed. Monitor and control logistics expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage budgets effectively. Ensure all necessary documentation for shipping, customs, and compliance is completed accurately and promptly according to legal, regulatory and company standards. Promptly address and resolve any issues related to shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies. Prepare and review shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists and export declarations. Collaborate with internal teams to align logistics operations with production schedules and customer requirements. Evaluate logistics performance and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency. Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and transportation costs to senior management. Oversee inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and coordinate with warehousing teams to ensure accuracy. Perform general office duties as required. Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a SPM, Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Business, Supply Chain, logistics or related. Experience in logistics and supply chain activities, preferably with a focus on international exports. Knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures and international shipping practices. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with analytical problem solving mindset and attention to detail. Able to execute multi tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. Proficient in Mandarin is desirable to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and clients. Possess own transport.
