We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as  Finance Manager Regulatory Reporting.

The contract will expire on 31 December 2025)

Principal Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of BNM Basel 3 Reforms (B3R) guideline on Non-Counterparty Credit Risk Weighted Assets (NCCR-RWA) – Standardised Approach (SA).
  • Perform gap analysis to compare the BNM current and B3R guidelines. Ensure impact assessments are performed properly.
  • Coordinate the project implementation action points with the respective stakeholders.
  • Participate in the UAT testing, track the test results and remediation actions, and trial run submission.
  • Ensure proper control documentations are put in place to reflect the process changes.
  • Backfilling the routine tasks of the existing staff who participate in the B3R project implementation.

Requirements

  • Minimum with Degree qualification. Possessing 3 to 5 years of related knowledge and practical experience of regulatory reporting will be additional advantage;
  • Strong independent contributor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; and resilient and adaptable with system technical experience;
  • Effective communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, including experience of presenting, influencing and maintaining strong working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to work with new and changing requirements from different regulators and be able to analyse these requirements and their impact to the bank
  • Good time management, analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Firm leadership capabilities of navigating, aspiring, driving, mobilising and sustaining, in line with HSBC values of open, connected and dependable
  • Due to local laws and governance, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
