Position Overview :

Team Size : 5
Salary Range : RM 17,000 - RM 20,000

Oversee all the company's legal matters and provide legal advice to ensure compliance with operational legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership and Development : Lead and develop the company's legal strategies and ensure legal compliance.

Advisory Role : Advise management and department heads on a broad range of legal and compliance matters.

Legal Support : Provide legal advice and support on issues such as legal, contractual, litigation, commercial law, and adherence to statutory or regulatory requirements.

Risk Management : Identify legal risks proactively and offer advice on all corporate operational legal matters to ensure compliance.

Regulatory Updates : Stay updated on new laws and regulations applicable to the company, and initiate necessary changes impacting business operations.

Research and Evaluation : Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.

Document Handling : Review, negotiate, and draft all types of arrangements, contracts, legal documents, etc.

External Liaison : Liaise with external parties and lawyers on legal matters.

Culture of Compliance : Promote and facilitate a culture of compliance across the company.

Integrity and Responsibility : Conduct work with integrity and responsibility.

Ad-hoc Duties : Undertake ad-hoc duties and assignments as required.

Key Requirements :

Corporate Law Expertise : Key exposure to corporate law and knowledge of corporate legal issues.

Analytical Skills : Good analytical skills and sound legal judgment to support business needs.

Business Judgment : Excellent business judgment, agility, and strategic thinking.

Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Document Skills : Strong in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial documents.
