Job Summary :

UCSI Schools is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Chemistry & Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team, teaching across both primary and secondary levels. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, analytical thinking, and a passion for scientific inquiry and numerical reasoning, while helping students build a strong foundation in both subjects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and curriculum-aligned Chemistry and Mathematics lessons for primary and secondary students.
• Design lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments in line with national curriculum standards (KSSR / KSSM) and / or international frameworks where applicable.
• Teach fundamental and advanced concepts in Chemistry and Mathematics, ensuring conceptual clarity and real-world relevance.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and academic support tailored to individual needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Incorporate laboratory experiments, simulations, mathematical modelling, and technology tools to enhance student engagement and understanding.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure curriculum consistency and interdisciplinary connections across subjects.
• Participate actively in school events, co-curricular activities, parent-teacher meetings, and other school community programs.
• Pursue continuous professional development and stay current with the latest teaching strategies, technological tools, and developments in Chemistry and Mathematics education.
