Job Summary
You are the Technology Engineer responsible for end‑to‑end project and process implementation, including machine automation, process automation, digitalisation, electrical, control and instrumentation. You will act as the overall coordinator for all internal and external engineering on projects and will be accountable for the successful design, implementation, commissioning and hand‑over of projects assigned by the Project Manager.
Responsibilities
Develop project objectives and review project proposals and plans in consultation with management.
Define project responsibilities by identifying project phases, reviewing contractor bids and determining project specifications.Prepare cost estimates and design tests to confirm product performance.Determine project schedule and budget, monitor progress, coordinate activities and resolve problems.Control changes to design, specification, plan and schedule, and recommend actions.Prepare project status reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information and trends.Instill safety review in all project aspects and follow SOP and the Project Management Framework.Process Improvement (C&I and Automation‑related)Act as an internal consultant, leading continuous improvement and redesign activities.
Support and integrate continuous improvement efforts, completing technical studies and preparing cost estimates.Plan and coordinate training for others to support the execution of continuous improvement strategies and tools.Lead problem‑solving efforts to improve quality and eliminate waste at each plant.Serve as a process improvement expert for tasks, projects and operations.Perform any other tasks or projects assigned by your superior or management.Requirements
Education Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical (Automation Major), Mechatronic, Automation or Robotic Engineering.Work ExperienceMinimum 1‑2 years in electrical, control system and instrumentation engineering.
Preferred 1‑2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.Technical and Professional KnowledgeRequirements analysis, design skills, project management, manufacturing methods, process improvement, technical understanding, documentation skills, safety management, supervision.
CAD, CAD / CAM, circuit design, machine vision, LabVIEW, PLC programming (Fatek, Siemens, Omron).Control system, automation, digitalisation programming (e.g., Node‑Red) and platforms (e.g., Grafana).Proven ability to lead change, motivate at all levels and deliver business transformation results.Certification / License Requirement N / AAdditional Company Information
