Operation & Maintenance Engineer (Perak)

Responsibilities
- Manage resource planning and scheduling for corrective and preventative maintenance while complying with Scope of Work and Service Level Agreements.
- Arrange or attend electrical breakdowns related to solar PV systems, initiate fault diagnosis and take corrective actions for assigned projects.
- Verify work performed by technicians or contractors, emphasizing quality and ensuring countermeasures meet standards, procedures, and specifications.
- Provide technical reports for breakdowns, corrective actions, and periodic maintenance performed.
- Monitor system performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical performance reports.
- Complete project technical studies, design, and prepare cost estimations.
- Determine project schedules by studying plans and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
- Liaise with Sales, Project, and Procurement departments to provide technical support and resolve technical issues during project installation.
- Review project QA / QC before Testing & Commissioning of solar PV projects to ensure specifications comply with standards and contract requirements.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Develop and establish company quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
- Serve as primary interface between authorities, engineering consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and clients during project phases and service warranty to build positive long‑term relationships.
- Provide technical and non‑technical support in developing new applications for internal process improvement.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in electrical installations or maintenance of solar PV projects.Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree acceptable.Knowledge of Solar PV system design and PV Syst software is an advantage.Extensive knowledge of electrical theory and strong troubleshooting skills.Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and reporting skills.Customer‑oriented, independent, and possessing good interpersonal skills.Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (verbal and written).Physically and mentally robust, able to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.Willing to work weekends and public holidays if required.Valid driving license category D and ability to travel or relocate.Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.Seniority level : Entry level
