Join or sign in to find your next job. We are hiring for the role of Associate Director, Actuarial Analyst to join the Reinsurance team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Experience in various actuarial pricing techniques such as experience and exposure rating.
• High level of proficiency in dynamic financial analysis (DFA) for reinsurance optimisation and pricing.
• Understand various reinsurance structures, manage risk, and implement them within the modelling framework.
• Establish and uphold actuarial best practices, including technical peer review, with potential to participate in the regional Actuarial Practice Group (APG).
• Serve as actuarial territorial contact, liaising with clients and colleagues to set project objectives and outcomes and manage projects.
• Deliver presentations and conduct training sessions related to actuarial work and methods for colleagues and clients.
• Peer review projects and mentor junior analysts as required.
• Provide support around workflow management for renewals, delivering project outcomes for domestic and regional clients.
• Drive improvements in efficiency of actuarial projects aligned with commercial needs and articulate outcomes clearly.
