Job description

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with knowledge of AI automation and AWS cloud services to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong PHP development skills complemented by experience in implementing automated workflows and leveraging AWS services for scalable, intelligent applications.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment & Implementation

Develop and maintain robust PHP applications using modern frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter)
Build RESTful APIs and web services for internal and external integrations
Integrate AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS, SNS) into PHP applications
Implement automated workflows using n8n, AWS Step Functions, or similar platforms
Create custom PHP scripts for data processing and system automation

AI & AWS Cloud Integration

Integrate AI services like Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI APIs, and AWS AI / ML services into PHP applications

Utilize AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, and IAM

Implement serverless PHP functions using AWS Lambda with Bref or similar tools

Work with AWS SDK for PHP to build cloud-native applications

Deploy and manage PHP applications on AWS infrastructure (Elastic Beanstalk, ECS)

Automation & Process Optimization

Analyze existing business processes to identify automation opportunities

Create robust, error-handling workflows that reduce manual intervention

Implement monitoring and alerting systems for automated processes

Document automation workflows and maintain process documentation

Collaboration & Innovation

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements

Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards

Stay current with emerging technologies in automation and AI

Contribute to technical architecture decisions and best practices

Required QualificationsTechnical Skills

PHP Development

: 3+ years of experience with PHP (7.4+ / 8.x) and modern frameworks (Laravel, Symfony preferred)

AWS Cloud Services

: Working knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch)

AI / Automation

: Basic experience with AI APIs (Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI) and automation tools (n8n, AWS Step Functions)

Databases

: Proficiency with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS

APIs

: Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations

Version Control

: Experience with Git and collaborative development

Experience

3-5 years of PHP development experience with modern frameworks

1-2 years working with AWS cloud services and infrastructure

Basic experience implementing automation workflows or AI integrations

Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

Familiarity with MySQL / PostgreSQL database design and optimization

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities

Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Detail-oriented approach with focus on quality and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Laravel ecosystem (Eloquent, Artisan, Queue system)

AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Developer Associate)

Knowledge of containerization with Docker and AWS ECS / EKS

Experience with AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB)

Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for infrastructure as code

Understanding of AWS security best practices and IAM

Previous experience with message queues (AWS SQS, Redis)

Knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript, , React) for full-stack development
