Job description summary :

This is a Delivery Architect role for GE Vernova Digital Grid. You will design, implement, and oversee the technical architecture for software implementation services bids and projects. Ensure the proposed solution is best in class and meets customer functional and non-functional requirements, within the GE Vernova project budget and timescale. Responsibilities

Solution Delivery Leadership :

Lead technical teams in the delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards. Coordinate with the Services function (Delivery Manager and Project Manager) to interact with customers and define, produce, and maintain an optimal solution design based on scope, customer requirements and solution capabilities. End to End Design Leadership (Pre-sales + Delivery) :

Facilitate requirements, design and solution workshops to capture functional and non-functional requirements from the client. Own the design deliverables (Statement of Work, Architecture documents); ensure traceability of requirements with proposed solutions. Create and review comprehensive and clear documentation including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation guides. Communicate and enforce design to Customers and Key Project Stakeholders. Manage involvement of other SMEs (e.g., business analysts, IT / Cybersecurity experts) to ensure designs meet system architecture requirements. Drive Excellence :

Drive execution excellence through continuous improvement, collaborate with sales / presales to conduct needs assessments, develop technical proposals, and support creating Statements of Work (SoW). Coordinate knowledge capitalization and dissemination across the Services & Delivery team. Build technical expertise in the relevant domain and deliver technical consultancy services on demand. Develop standard policies, procedures, and templates. Collaboration :

Collaborate with Product Managers & Engineering on Return on Experience, product enhancements, and reference architectures. Required Skills

10+ years of deep technical design-focused expertise and hands-on experience with development and architecture in Industrial solutions & Electrification software for Utilities (SCADA, ADMS, EMS, CERMS / DERMS, Grid and Market Management Systems). Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, with emphasis on Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. Familiarity with design principles, coding, scripting, operating systems (Linux), source control, virtualization, and Cloud Architecture (AWS and / or Azure); experience with microservices. Experience with cloud technologies, cloud-native technologies (containers and Kubernetes), and strong understanding of cloud architectures. Strong knowledge of architectural structures, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, including multi-site deployments. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; demonstrated ability to technically lead large projects and architect complex solutions. Awareness of presales activities including SoW creation and services estimation; proficient in creating comprehensive documentation. Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with C-Level executives and key stakeholders. Proactive and customer-facing attitude with a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs. Exposure to iterative product development and program management techniques including Agile, SAFe, Scrum, and DevOps. Professional English level.
