Job description

Job Responsibility

  • Drive sales and business development for occupational health and safety products range : Aviation tools, rivets, drills, grinders, abrasives, tapes & adhesives, Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs);
  • Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities to establish & cultivate strong business relationship with customers;
  • Manage and expand product range and usage in the assigned territory for sales growth;
  • Serve as technical advisor to customers, offering solutions tailored to their specific needs and requirements;
  • Conduct in-depth product demonstration, training and presentation to help customers discover and understand products / services and benefits;
  • Manage customer relationships throughout the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction and post-sale support;
  • Evaluate client application requirements and provide solutions;
  • Responsible for new accounts & new product development as well as maintaining existing customers;
  • Conduct regular visits / meetings with customers and attend verbal & written inquiries;
  • Meet or exceed established sales targets and KPIs on a consistent basis;
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and industry regulations to stay informed and adjust sales strategies;
  • Attend trade shows, industry events and customer meetings to expand the customer base and keep up-to-date with industry trends;
  • Prepare & submit quotes, proposals, tenders or any technical documentation including monthly business review reports & other management reports that are required.

Job Requirements

  • Preferably with a Diploma or Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
  • Able to speak in Bahasa Malaysia
  • Fresh graduate are welcome to apply
  • 3 years experience in sales / business development preferably in the Automotive / Aerospace industries or Electrical and Electronics Industry.
  • Excellent communication negotiation interpersonal and sales skills;
  • Ability to explain technical product details and benefits to both technical and non-technical customers;
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets;
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Aggressive highly independent able to work under minimal supervision & self-organized.
  • Any working experience in the areas of occupational health & safety would be an advantage.
