Internship Overview
This internship provides practical, hands-on experience across Operations, Logistics, Procurement, and Property Management. Interns will work closely with different departments, gaining exposure to day-to-day business processes, supply chain coordination, vendor management, and facility upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
A. Operations Management
- Assist in monitoring daily operations for plantation, factory, and retail divisions.
- Support workflow analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Assist in preparing operational reports for management review.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure smooth business operations.
B. Logistics & Supply Chain
Assist in monitoring stock levels, inventory control, and warehouse management.Support order fulfillment and coordinate product distribution to outlets and clients.Work with the logistics team to plan delivery schedules and optimize transportation.Gain exposure to supply chain planning and distribution processes.C. Procurement
Assist in sourcing suppliers and gathering price quotations.Support vendor management, purchase requests, and tracking deliveries.Help prepare procurement documentation and maintain supplier databases.Gain insights into cost control, budget monitoring, and supplier negotiations.D. Property & Asset Management
Assist in managing company properties including tea houses, factories, and staff accommodations.Support in scheduling maintenance, repair, and safety inspections.Help track property usage, upkeep, and facility management records.Participate in planning upgrades or renovation projects when required.Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Property Management, Business Administration, or related fields.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team.Willing to be based in Cameron Highlands or Glenmarie HQ depending on assignment.Learning Outcomes
