Overview

Purpose Statement : This role is a key driver for product data integrity within the APAC region. The Regional Product Engineer will manage the technical systems and data that define our products. This includes overseeing product data configuration and maintenance, leading the product validation system, and implementing standardization efforts to ensure unified processes and quality standards throughout the region.

Responsibilities

  • Technical and Team Leadership : Serve as a technical specialist, leader, and mentor for product and process development across the APAC region. Provide technical guidance, training, and troubleshooting support to local teams.
  • Project and Process Management : Lead small to mid-sized projects, managing the scope, schedule, and technical success of manufacturing processes. Oversee the regional product validation process practices and compliances, ensuring technical standards are met.
  • Process Standardization and Improvement : Champion continuous improvement initiatives and drive standardization of tools and processes across the region. Collaborate with regional and global product teams to identify and deploy new initiatives and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration : Act as the main point of contact for technical communication within the region and with the global product team. Lead technical discussions, support business continuity, and contribute to the creation of new proposals.

Education / Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or Science required; a Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or higher is preferred.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of related experience required.

  • Intermediate decision making, problem solving skills
  • Intermediate verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills; Statistical Process Control software skills
  • Strong understanding of structured design principles to implement clear, logical, and systematic shop floor processes
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers
  • SMT manufacturing environment experience preferred
