About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and hands‑on HR Generalist to support our growing operations through strategic recruitment and effective learning and development initiatives. This role focuses on direct labor hiring, ramp‑up recruitment, and training program management to ensure a skilled and competent workforce that aligns with production and business goals.
Primary Responsibilities
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Lead and execute end‑to‑end recruitment for direct labor (DL) hiring, including ramp‑up and replacement plans aligned with production forecasts and operational needs.
- Drive strategic hiring initiatives by analyzing manpower trends, turnover data, and production requirements to ensure the right workforce mix and timely fulfillment of headcount targets.
- Conduct root cause analysis on hiring challenges such as high attrition, candidate rejection trends, or onboarding delays, and propose corrective actions to improve hiring outcomes.
- Partner with line managers, supervisors, and production leaders to forecast manpower requirements and plan recruitment strategies that support business continuity.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical positions through proactive sourcing, internal referrals, and engagement with training institutions or local communities.
- Ensure effective onboarding and orientation programs that support early employee engagement and retention.
- Continuously review and optimize recruitment processes , tracking KPIs such as time‑to‑fill, offer acceptance rates, and new hire retention to strengthen hiring efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR management to align hiring strategies with company growth plans and workforce development goals.
- Advise management on good practices practiced by industry to attract and retain talents from the interaction with candidates during the interview process.
Learning & Development (Training)
Conduct and coordinate new hire training, refresher training, recertification, and cross‑training programs .Monitor and support On‑the‑Job Training (OJT) to ensure effective skill transfer and readiness for production.Perform and evaluate certification assessments for operators, trainers, and relevant staff.Participate in internal and customer audits , ensuring full compliance with training standards.Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives related to training and workforce competency.Manage and follow up on Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) related to training or skill gaps.Monitor training effectiveness through yield meetings and link outcomes to customer scorecard performance.Develop, update, and maintain training documentation, procedures, and records in line with company and customer requirements.Collaborate closely with supervisors, engineers, and team leaders to identify skill gaps and propose appropriate training solutions.Periodically review and enhance training scope, methods and contents to jive with evolving customer and certification audit standards.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in HR, with exposure to both recruitment and training functions (manufacturing environment preferred).Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.Hands‑on approach with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.Familiarity with ISO or customer audit standards will be an added advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
