Business Development Manager

Our client is a specialist in global container logistics with 40000 employees globally. The company focuses on freight forwarding, contract logistics and port logistics, managing complex supply chains and provides a wealth of innovative value-added services. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for : Identify and secure potential customers, market verticals, and industry segments with strong growth potential. Actively secure new customers per agreed annual targets. Develop international trades lanes by working closely with the other company’s offices and overseas agents. Proven track record in sales and business development in the Malaysian market. Experience in managing sales visits / sales pipelines / sales reporting via CRM sales tool. Manage sales visits, pipelines and reporting via CRM tools. Deliver compelling presentation with excellent communication skills. The Ideal Candidate : Diploma / Degree or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field. Familiar knowledge in freight forwarding industry. Proficient in both English and local language – written and verbal. Possess customer service mindset and data analytical approach. Highly motivated to learn new processes, received feedback and work independently. Excellent attention to detail and able to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines. Strong presentation and communication skills. Able to work independently and team player.
