Enviably Me, the official distributor and retailer for Grendene brands such as Ipanema, Zaxy, Rider and Melissa shoes, the iconic Brazilian brand and pioneer of jelly shoes in Singapore & Malaysia is expanding its brand portfolio and distribution channels. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Retail Manager who is excited by the prospect of making a positive impact in retail and consumer experience through digitization in the exciting and ever-changing world of retail. You would be a hands-on individual with a proven track record of successfully driving customer and business growth for consumer brands.
What you're expected to do :
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the store's operations, including inventory management & warehouse logistics, product placement, and visual merchandising.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales figures, foot traffic, and customer satisfaction, to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance store efficiency and productivity.
- Set sales targets and goals for all point of sales & stores, and motivate the sales team to achieve or exceed them.
- Involve in recruiting, hiring, and grooming of sales associates and other store personnel.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and work with HR to implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and control expenses, such as manpower costs, inventory shrinkage, and operational expenditures, to maximize profitability.
- Prepare and manage the store's budget, forecasting sales and expenses accurately.
- Analyze financial reports and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with Marketing team on strategies and promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase revenue.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors & suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and conditions.
- Lead negotiations with landlords on lease renewals, new store opportunities, renovations etc.
- Evaluate the quality and pricing of products, making informed decisions regarding the assortment and selection of merchandise.
