Summary of the roles :

The Regional Tax Specialist / Manager role will drive Tax Efficiency, Optimization and Compliance for the Region. He / she supports the Regional Financial Controller to manage international and local tax strategies, tax research, tax planning, tax efficiencies, tax reporting and tax audit and ensure tax compliance across the region. Key responsibilities : Manage regional entities tax strategies and optimization. Manage tax incentive management and optimization. Involve in ad-hoc direct and indirect taxes advice to local finance teams. Implement best practices and compliance across region. Advise on new tax related government projects implementations. Handle cross border transactional tax matters and transfer pricing. Support local tax returns, tax accounting. Collaborate with external tax advisors for tax related projects. To be successful in this role, you would need to have : Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant professional qualifications (e.g CTIM, ICAEW, ACCA, CPA) 8 years of working experience of which 5 years in a senior or leading tax role (Big 4 experience welcome). Regional tax responsibility desired. Critical thinking capabilities. Strong inter-personal and communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with colleagues across countries in the region.
