Community Navigator (Pink Ribbon Centre, Ipoh)

Overview

At Cancer Research Malaysia (CRMY) , we are committed to closing the gap in cancer care by improving early detection and access to breast cancer treatment for underserved communities.

We are looking for a Community Navigator to support breast cancer patients and their families through diagnosis and treatment. This role ensures patients receive seamless, coordinated care by providing education, resources, and community connections — ultimately improving cancer care outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the healthcare system, addressing barriers to timely care.
• Coordinate appointments and liaise with healthcare teams to improve outcomes.
• Conduct home visits for welfare assessment, education, and follow-up.
• Connect patients with local resources, entitlements, and support services.
• Collaborate with agencies, NGOs, and community partners to enhance support networks.
