Job description

Mechanical maintenance technicians keep the machines under their supervision functioning at optimal efficiency.

Assisting the Head of Maintenance to create and follow Maintenance Standard Operating Procedures.

Mechanical maintenance technicians document each step of the maintenance standard operating procedure for all the machines under their control. More experienced mechanical maintenance technicians make sure the new workers comply with these procedures.

Mechanical maintenance technician is required to perform preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, maintenance during planned and unplanned shutdown, troubleshoot faulty machinery. They run the machine dan keep their and ears peeled for anything unusual.

Mechanical maintenance technicians repair faulty equipment and make modification when necessary.

It is imperative that mechanical maintenance technicians document each maintenance and repair session. This allows other mechanical maintenance technicians on different shift to see what has and hasn't been done.

Experienced mechanical maintenance technicians are responsible for mentoring new hires and teaching them various polies, procedures, and repair techniques.

Make sure machinery and works complies with DOSH Standards.

Responsible to look after and take good care of maintenance tools and equipment.

Should be multitasked in all department.

Required to work on call by HOD during emergency, rest day dan public Holidays.

To work on shift based

Willingness to work overtime.

Must be able to use Oxy-Torch Cutting without any supervision.

Must be able to do all kind & welding without failure as per standard requirement.
