Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards across the organization
  • Ensure alignment between business strategy, technology investments, and architectural governance
  • Oversee the technology portfolio management and capability mapping for insurance domains

Data Architect

  • Design and implement the enterprise data strategy, focusing on insurance data models and governance
  • Architect data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time analytics platforms for policy, claims, and customer data
  • Establish data quality standards, master data management, and metadata management frameworks
  • Solution Architect

  • Design end-to-end technology solutions for insurance business capabilities (underwriting, claims, billing)
  • Create architecture designs that balance functional requirements with non-functional needs
  • Guide development teams in implementing solutions according to architectural standards
  • Integration Architect

  • Develop the integration strategy and patterns for connecting insurance applications and partners
  • Design API-led connectivity solutions and event-driven architectures
  • Establish integration governance and best practices for microservices and service-oriented architecture
  • Develop and execute the multi-cloud strategy for insurance workloads and applications
  • Design cloud-native architectures, migration plans, and cloud operating models
  • Optimize cloud costs, performance, and security across the insurance application portfolio
  • Security Architect

  • Design and implement the cybersecurity architecture framework for insurance systems
  • Establish security controls, identity / access management, and compliance frameworks
  • Conduct security risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance for insurance data
  • DevSecOps Architect

  • Design and implement the DevSecOps platform and toolchain for insurance development teams
  • Establish CI / CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated security testing
  • Drive cultural transformation toward DevSecOps practices across technology teams
  • AI / GenAI Architect

  • Design the AI and GenAI architecture strategy for insurance use cases
  • Architect ML platforms, data pipelines, and GenAI solutions for underwriting, claims, and service
  • Establish model governance, ethics, and responsible AI frameworks
  • Automation Architect

  • Develop the enterprise automation strategy spanning RPA, workflow, and intelligent automation
  • Design automation solutions that integrate with core insurance systems and processes
  • Establish the automation center of excellence and governance framework
  • RPA Solution / Process Architect

  • Analyze and design business processes for robotic process automation in insurance operations
  • Architect RPA solutions that integrate with insurance applications and systems
  • Establish RPA development standards, security, and governance processes
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in technology roles with at least 5 years in architecture positions
  • Proven experience in insurance, financial services, or highly regulated industries
  • Strong knowledge of insurance domains (policy administration, claims, billing, distribution)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience in driving technology transformation programs
  • Shared Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain architecture artifacts, standards, and roadmaps
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
  • Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with standards
