Overview
Senior Supply Chain & Operations Executive – Zenyum, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Senior Supply Chain & Operations Executive to manage procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution across our regional supply chain network. The role focuses on ensuring seamless operations, optimizing supply planning, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Procurement & Supplier Management : Lead procurement execution, place and manage purchase orders (POs) with suppliers to ensure timely production and replenishment; develop strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery timelines; proactively identify supply risks, negotiate solutions, and align procurement with business needs.
- Freight & Logistics Management : Oversee freight forwarders and shippers to ensure cost-effective, timely, and compliant international shipping; manage import / export operations, navigate customs clearance and regulatory compliance in collaboration with logistics partners; optimize shipping schedules and routes to improve lead times and reduce costs.
- Warehouse & 3PL Coordination : Work closely with 3PL providers and warehouse teams in Singapore, Malaysia, and regional markets to manage inbound and outbound logistics; ensure accurate inventory receiving and stock allocation according to SLAs; monitor warehouse performance metrics (KPIs) and drive operational improvements.
- Inventory & Operations Planning : Support commercial teams, finance teams, and head of operations to ensure optimal inventory sufficiency across markets; support supply planning strategies, including demand forecasting and replenishment cycles.
- Operational Compliance & Continuous Improvement : Develop and maintain SOPs for supply chain and logistics operations; identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations, preferably in consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce industries.Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, customs regulations, and international logistics.Experience managing supplier relationships, purchase orders, and production timelines.Hands-on experience with warehouse operations, 3PL coordination, and inventory planning.Proficiency in MS Excel, Inventory management software (OMW / WMS), etc.Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a solution-oriented mindset.Job Details
