Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

As Senior Accountant, you will maintain accounting books and ensure monthly / yearly closings in accordance with IFRS and tax laws, providing accurate and timely reporting as required.

Responsibilities

Maintain accounting books in ERP, prepare journals, and ensure timely closings.
Report to group using reporting tools.
Lead daily activities for the company and supervise two Accounts Executives.
Prepare tax filings and other tax-related requirements.
Prepare budgets and forecasts for general administration accounts.
Perform internal controls, maintain customer and supplier accounts, serve as a contact for stakeholders, and participate in ad-hoc finance projects.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in accounting, including closing processes, for more than 5 years.

Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS / Taxation).

Good communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask.

Ability to work independently and detail-oriented.

Experience with ERP and Microsoft applications; supervisory experience preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
