Job description

Reporting to the Sn Manager - Accounts, we are looking for a candidate that is able to manage a full set of accounts. 1.Accounts Receivable (AR) – Managing Customer Invoices and Collections 🔹 Issue invoices, statement of accounts and receipts to customers. 🔹 Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections. 🔹 Maintain customer account statements and credit control to avoid overdue accounts. 🔹 Reconcile sales transactions with bank deposits and resolve discrepancies. 2. General Ledger and Financial Reporting 🔹 Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system. 🔹 Maintain General Ledger (GL) entries and adjustments. 🔹 Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports. 🔹 Ensure transactions are accurately classified for tax and reporting purposes. 3. Accounts Payable (AP) – Managing Expenses and Supplier Payments 🔹 Cross check officer's work to verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests ensuring timely supplier payments and maintain good vendor relationships, and timely bank reconciliation. 4. Taxation and Compliance 🔹 Assist in Sales and Service Tax (SST) filings and ensure compliance with LHDN regulations. 🔹 Support payroll processing by preparing staff salary reports and statutory payments (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB). 🔹 Help prepare financial documents for external audits and tax filings. 5. Banking and Cash Flow Management 🔹 Monitor company cash flow and update cash position reports. 🔹 Prepare bank reconciliation statements to track inflows and outflows. 🔹 Liaise with banks on payment transactions and other financial matters. 6. Other Administrative and Support Tasks 🔹 Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records. 🔹 Assist in budgeting and cost control analysis. 🔹 Support the Sn Accounts Manager in ad-hoc accounting tasks.   • Candidate must possess a accounting degree  -At least 4 years of working experience in book keeping. Working experience in TRAVEL industry is an advantage. -Must have initiative, be reliable and possess strong integrity. Able to work independently and possess good attitude. Attention to details -Good communication skills - spoken and written ( English ). -Computation in SAP, Ms Excel, Ms Word.
