IBM AIX Engineer

1 year contract with extendable

• Install, configure, and maintain IBM AIX operating systems and related technologies.
• Perform system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Manage LPARs, VIOS, PowerVM, and HMC in IBM Power Systems environments.
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Apply patches, fixes, and upgrades to keep systems secure and compliant.
• Work with storage (SAN / NAS) and ensure proper integration with AIX servers.
• Provide user and group administration, security hardening, and access management.
• Support high availability (HACMP / PowerHA) and clustering solutions.
• Collaborate with application, database, and network teams to ensure system stability.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configuration, procedures, and standards
